Why You Keep Attracting the Same Type of Person
Keep ending up with the same type of partner? Your dating pattern may have less to do with bad luck and more to do with what feels emotionally familiar.

There's something interesting I've seen happen with completely different people: they change cities, dating apps, even their "type"... and three months later they're living through exactly the same movie.
Same principle. Same emotion. Same disappointment.
And then comes the question: "What's wrong with me?"
Probably nothing unusual.
Very often we don't choose what's good for us. We choose what feels familiar.
If you grew up learning that affection came and went, that you had to earn it, or that you never knew when it would show up, you may confuse that uncertainty with attraction as an adult.
That's why someone who leaves you on read can occupy your whole mind while someone calm feels like they're "missing something."
I've heard people say things like "I just don't feel that spark with him," when, after digging a little, that spark was actually anxiety.
And here's something important: you don't need to blame your parents, your exes, or look for a perfect explanation for everything. First you need to observe the pattern.
Think about your last relationships. What did they have in common? How did they start? What happened when the other person pulled away? What did you do to get their attention back?
Once you start seeing those repetitions, something changes.
And the next time someone who gives you peace shows up, don't run away because it "feels weird."
Of course it feels weird.
If you've spent years used to the roller coaster, calm can feel like boredom at first.
But calm isn't boring.
Sometimes it's simply something you don't yet recognize as love.
Changing this pattern doesn't happen overnight. But it starts the moment you stop choosing automatically and start choosing consciously.
