Stop Overthinking It

You've probably been there: you see an attractive woman, you like her vibe, and your mind starts running marathons.

"What do I say? What if she gets annoyed? What if she turns me down? I'll wait for a better moment..."

The problem is that "better moment" never comes, or sometimes a total stranger walks over and takes the chance to meet her instead.

You don't need the perfect line or to wait until you feel 100% confident. That doesn't exist. What does exist is deciding to act.

Here are 3 ways that worked for me once I stopped overthinking and started moving.

1. The Direct Approach (the simplest and most powerful)

The first time I tried this I was terrified. I saw a woman in a plaza, took a breath, and said:

"Hi, I'm Jair, I was passing by and wanted to meet you. What's your name?"

She didn't reject me. She smiled. She told me her name. We talked for a while.

👉 It works because very few men dare to do it. And when you do it naturally, you communicate something women value: confidence.

How to do it:

Breathe and don't think for more than 3 seconds.

  • Make eye contact.

  • Smile, relaxed.

  • Say your name and your intention, no beating around the bush.

2. The Situational Conversation (my favorite for breaking the ice)

Basically, you talk about whatever is already happening.

Real example: at a coffee shop, the woman in front of me couldn't decide what to order. I said:

"I always come here and never know whether to get an espresso or a cappuccino. Do you already know what you're getting?"

She laughed. And we kept talking from there.

👉 It works because you're not "hitting on" her — you're just having a conversation.

More quick examples:

At the gym: "Is that exercise any good? I'm trying to switch up my routine."

At a bookstore: "That book looks interesting — have you read it?"

At an event: "It's my first time here — how did you hear about it?"

3. Including Her in the Conversation (zero pressure, maximum naturalness)

If she's already part of your friend group, just include her like you would anyone else.

Example: someone brings up a topic, and you turn to her:

"What do you think? Would you do the same?"

When she answers, you go a little deeper. And little by little, the conversation becomes something between the two of you.

👉 The best part: she doesn't feel pressure. She just feels included.

What I Learned

The first time, my legs were shaking. I stumbled over my words. I said silly things. But every time I dared, I became more natural.

👉 The secret was never finding the right "trick."

👉 The secret is taking the first step.

Because you can watch a thousand videos or read a thousand articles, but until you actually talk to that woman you like... nothing changes.
